Charles Spann

Charles "Chip" Spann is a 20 year veteran of the telecommunications industry. Most recently he served as Vice President of Broadband for Fleming-Mason Service Corporation. Previous roles have included:

• Senior Director of Spectrum Development - Sprint
• Vice President of Business Development - America Connect, Inc.
• Vice President of Spectrum Management - American Telecasting, Inc.

During the past several years Chip has also provided professional consulting services to the governmental and private sectors including:

• Time Warner Telecom
• Connect Kentucky
• IVI Communications, Inc.

Although he began his career in the CATV industry, it was the wireless industry that captured his attention. He has been active in developing both licensed and unlicensed systems, educational and commercial deployments and has served on the Rural Broadband Task Force of the Wireless Communications Association International ("WCAI") for many years.

As a long time member of the WCAI, he has spent a considerable amount of time developing strong and lasting relationships with many of the industry's telecommunications attorneys, FCC staff members and corporate executives in the 2.5 GHz sector.
